This Merino Wool Coolmax Fabric is a lightweight performance textile developed for outdoor, activewear and next-to-skin apparel applications. Made from 60% Merino Wool and 40% Coolmax, the fabric combines the natural comfort of Merino wool with the moisture-management performance of technical synthetic fibers.
At 160 GSM, the fabric provides a lightweight and breathable feel that is particularly suitable for garments designed for hiking, running, cycling, travel and everyday active use. Merino wool naturally helps regulate body temperature and manage moisture, helping the wearer remain comfortable across changing activity levels and environmental conditions.
The addition of Coolmax fibers enhances moisture transport and drying performance, making this fabric suitable for active garments where sweat management and comfort are important. Compared with conventional wool fabrics, this Merino blend offers a more performance-oriented balance between natural fiber comfort and technical functionality.
The fabric has a soft hand feel and is suitable for garments worn close to the skin, including lightweight base layers, outdoor T-shirts, long-sleeve tops, underwear and performance sportswear.
